.losing.focus.

it's happening...i'm losing that motivation i once had a 3 months ago. it's getting harder and harder every day. maybe i need a day off. or maybe i should shorten my run. or maybe i should just run at night. whatever it is, i better do it fast, so that i'll look forward to training again. right now, all i can look forward to is october 11th, when it will all be over.

work is nothing to write home about either. blah.

but the bourne supremacy, is defo something to write about. matt damon is oh so hot. the storyline was pretty good. kinda cheezy and simple at parts, but still entertaining to watch. and did i mention matt damon is hot? i'm so damn behind on my movies. i'm planning on seeing spiderman 2 next week. with or without you. maybe by myself.

can't wait for the big party this weekend! woohoo! finally! after how many years, annie and marcel are tying the knot. i'm so happy for them and also can't wait to party uofi style.

running 16 miles makes my feet hurt.

the next 2 weeks is wedding extravaganza...this saturday, up in milwaukee. one of my friends from california-now-from-arizona is coming into town and staying with me. it'll be good times. i just have to sqeeze in the run sometime..don't know when yet...

then next weekend, is annie and marcel's. finally...woohoo! how long have they been together now?? i lost count after 6 years. that will for sure be a wedding to remember...can't wait!

then after that, it'll be crunch training time. i plan to fall off the face of the earth, until oct. 11th. well, maybe until oct 12th (need time to recover)...i wonder if i'll be able to finish?

new shoes!

i bought new running shoes over the weekend. how exciting. new balance 765s. hopefully that blister on my right big toe will go away. but with my luck, i'll get a new one somewhere else on my right foot. i'm going to try to switch off my shoes, so i don't wear these out before the marathon. can't afford to buy another pair...

i think my mind has put up a wall when it comes to retaining any work information. i read words here at work, trying to understand this new application, but i have to re-read it 3 times in order for me to even understand it. and 15 minutes later, i'll be lucky to even remember what i had read...

we booked the photographer, and now the only big thing left is the church...i think. i can't think of anything else big that we need to make sure is available. hopefully everything works out. i had said before i don't really have a preference for what church, but now that i want this particular one, this is the only one i want. please god, help!

and finally - i love watching the olympics. gymnastics, swimming, synchronized diving....i love it! i have to make sure i catch all the gymnastics as i can...however, whenever i'm watching women's gymnastics, i just about have a heart attack watching them. how nerve-racking! i don't even know if that's how you spell it, but whatever. you get my point.

go team U.S.A.! - and blaine wilson because he's a hot. and so is that other swimmer who got the silver in the same race that michael phelps got the gold.

i slept 9PM - 5AM Wednesday night. good stuff. i was so damn tired. i still am. hopefully i sleep well tonight, so i can wake up early tomorrow and run.

meeting with a potential photographer tonight. cross your fingers. i think this guy's the one.

i am freezing in this damn office. i think the air conditioning is still on full blast. cold!

high 50s this morning. perfect for running! when i woke up this morning, i wanted to quit again. i really need to try to sleep earlier these days. it's only going to get harder.

got my first B&P today of the john mayer show from the 40 watt in decatur, GA 8.23.00. classic vintage. seriously, i love his 'old' stuff. mostly acoustic. and his banter is different. sounds less sure of himself; but excited to perform in front of real people. i love it. hopefully i'll be able to build my collection by the end of this year. and don't worry, i'll spread the love...

howl at the moon last night for mari's bday was actually fun. a lot more fun than i thought it would be. the musicians there are hilarious! if you want to go out for a cheesy night of fun with your coworkers, i highly recommend this place.

ran 4 miles this morning along the lake. and man, were those waves angry. almost got me, except i ran on top of the rocks when i got to a puddle parts.

yesterday's 7 miles was much worse. it rained on me the entire time. blah. oh, and when did it stop raining, you ask? when i got in the car to drive home. figures.
