.what.does.no.foam.mean.to.you?.

every morning, i order the same thing. tall-soy-no-foam-chai. it's like clockwork, really. i think the starbucks morning shift knows what i'm about to say, but don't want to put words in my mouth. they also probably remember that i used to switch off between the char and the carmel macchiato. this morning, i waited in the increasingly, repetative long line, and said "tall-soy-no-foam-chai." walked over to the pick-up-drink line, and patiently waited for my drink. this time, i actually watched what he was doing. this guy wasn't part of the normal morning crew. and i saw him put water in my chai. i think i had heard someone order a chai-no-water once, but thought i had heard wrong. i'm sorry, what! water in my chai? i just want soy in my chai. no water downed version, thank you. anyways, he proceeded to put a good amount in my cup. i was about to say, that's enough!, but figured i shoudn't make a scene. so he says 'tall-soy-no-foam-chai,"i grab my cup and begin walking to the office. as i'm walking, there is a growing mountain of foam coming from the opening in the cup. did i NOT say, 'no foam'?? it got bigger and bigger, and i finally had to wipe it off. how hard is it to make a drink without foam?!

UGH.

anyways, i'm sure i'll get over this in about 2 seconds. lately i've been having very uneasy sleep. i think it has to do with all this wedding planning. we're under the gun and i still haven't officially ordered the invites. then we have the flower girl dresses, favors, bridal party gifts, confirming with vendors, scheduling the tasting....the list is endless, i think. my problem with this, is that i've done too much researching. i need to make the decision and be done with it. oh well. if it turns out that the invites will take too long to order, we can always go with the cheap quick versions.
