.why.no.posts?

...it's not like i don't have time to write new posts. it seems i have all the time in the world. i guess i've found other stuff to do besides surf. i don't like trying to write at work either, unless i know my manager and his manager are not in the office. i have to sneak being on AIM also, and am only on for about 20 minutes at a time. it's ok though. however, not having direct contact with the outside world doesn't automatically make me more productive. in fact, i believe i've become more unproductive. i check my yahoo acct 20 times an hour. i check cnn 4 times an hour. i'm just a natural procrastinator and an original SAS. i can't help it. i've tried to curb these habits, but this week, at least i've failed miserably. i think it's because i'm not under a huge deadline. and i'm still feeling my way around on this project. i work harder and consistently when i actually know what's going on and know what i need to do...

so what has happened this week...i made pork chops like my mom used to at home. mmmmmm....except that i burned one of them. and melody ended up eating that one...i tried to take it off her plate, but she refused. oops. now that i know how to make them, the next time will be perfect (hopefully).

i ran a couple miles on tuesday night around the park in my neighborhood. next time i'll have to get out a little earlier because by the end of it, it was dark, and a little spooky. i kept looking over my shoulder to make sure no one was following me or gonna jump me.

and speaking of my neighborhood, can there please be one day that these hispanic men keep to themselves? since when did it become attractive to hoot, holler, whistle, yell "hey!", and downright stare at others? didn't their mothers teach them anything useful??

where did all the time go? how is it already october? at least i have something to show for it...i have a new job, and basically a new life. yes! i accomplished something this year! now i have to decide what i want to do...volunteer at children's hospital or get a 2nd job ushering at a theater. there might be a waiting list to volunteer at the hospital, so while i do that, i can always apply to be an usher, or at least volunteer for it. maybe i can get an in there and make some connections...
